On Saturday the 21st of June, we proudly celebrated the grand opening of our brand-new Doggy Daycare at Thornleigh Veterinary Hospital — and what a fantastic day it was! With over 65 people in attendance, many bringing along their excited pups, the event was filled with joy, community spirit, and plenty of wagging tails.
Guests enjoyed a variety of activities, including an impressive agility demonstration by our clever poodles, which delighted both the crowd and the dogs watching from the sidelines. The day also featured fun games for their owners, creating lots of laughs and memorable moments.
Visitors were able to explore our doggy daycare space, which features a large, secure running area for active play, as well as a separate rest zone designed to give pups a peaceful break when they need to recharge. The setup ensures every dog has a safe, enriching, and balanced day – whether they’re bursting with energy or prefer a quiet cuddle.
Our Best for Pet display was a hit, giving pet parents the chance to learn more about this comprehensive wellness program. We also hosted an exciting lucky draw, with fantastic prizes up for grabs and lots of happy winners.
Coffee lovers were in for a treat with delicious brews provided by Coffee on Cue, keeping everyone warm and energised throughout the morning. It truly added a special touch to the day.
One of the most exciting parts of the event was showcasing our beautiful boarding facilities for both dogs and cats. From our spacious dog suites to our cosy, multi-level cat condos, we were proud to show our guests the level of comfort and care we provide.
Our team had an incredible time engaging with the community, meeting new faces, and catching up with familiar ones. The day was a huge success and a great reminder of why we love what we do — caring for pets and supporting the people who love them.
